Sonoma Kinship Family Center

The Sonoma Kinship Family Center provides resources and supportive services to relative caregivers and the children under their care. Community workers, many of whom are themselves kinship caregivers, provide a range of individualized support to kinship families, including case management, counseling and emergency financial assistance. Weekly resource workshops, presented in Spanish and English, and support groups offer education, training and peer support to relative caregivers. From helping to navigate the guardianship process to offering respite care, the Sonoma Kinship Family Center is a vital community resource that helps prevent children from falling into foster care and staying with those they love.
